About Resurrection Ministries…

Dan Galema

What began as a love for Southern Gospel Music, fostered by his father being in a gospel quartet, and attending many concerts at an early age, led Dan into singing and concert promotion. Along with the youth group of his church, Dan organized and promoted that first concert at 17 years of age. Over 50 years later the joy of promoting and seeing how people are blessed and encouraged by the music keeps him going. Dan is joined in this effort by his wife Carolyn who was involved as well, 50 years ago!

"The friendships we have made over the years with the artists and the people who attend the concerts is a true joy and blessing" according to Carolyn.  Dan adds "Watching our friends create friendships with those same artists and those who attend the concerts is an added bonus".

Eventually organizing as a business entity over 20 years ago, the mission of Resurrection Ministries is to reach as many people as possible with the good news and love of Jesus Christ! The primary outlet in fulfilling this mission is through the promotion of Southern Gospel Music. Resurrection Ministries Inc. is an Indiana corporation and is recognized as a not-for-profit organization.

About the singing duo Resurrection…

Dan Galema and Ginny Yoder

Since 1985 Resurrection has been sharing the gospel, traveling throughout Indiana and surrounding states plus Iowa, Minnesota , West Virginia and Wisconsin. Founding members Ginny Yoder and Dan Galema are still doing what they believe God called them to do. Although they don't travel anymore they are still singing, opening most every Resurrection Ministries presents concert. Having recorded 9 projects since 2001 as a duet, they believe their music still touches lives by way of those recordings being played in homes and autos of their faithful supporters. Dan says "it is a joy and blessing to stand on a platform and sing the songs that God has given us to sing. Watching the spirit move among the faces of the audience is more than we could have ever asked for." Ginny states “being able to sing for an audience, afforded me the ability to sing what was in my heart, the words I couldn’t verbalize otherwise.”

Since its beginning there have only been 3 others who have stood on stage with Resurrection. Chuck Mullendore (founding member), Tim Johnson and Cathy Coffman. Each of these played a vital role in the ministry of Resurrection.

Years ago Ginny and Dan were interviewed by a local newspaper in promotion of them being in concert in that newspaper's city. Ginny made a statement that is still true today, "each concert brings us one concert closer to our last". Closer, but not yet.
